Are you trying to come up with a fresh new bathroom or kitchen design? Instead of assigning different materials to your bathtub, shower, counters, walls, backsplashes, accents, and more, why not make them all out of glass mosaic tile? This wonderfully versatile material is perfect for whatever bathroom project you have in mind.
Do you picture your kitchen or bathroom wall with the smoothness of large, simple tiles or the rich texture of thousands of little tiles? Either way, you’ll find glass mosaic tiles to be exceedingly accommodating. If you’re feeling exceptionally adventurous, you might even try combining small and large tiles for a hypnotizing effect.
When most people think of tiles, they tend to think of squares. Glass mosaic tiles, however, allow you to step outside of the square and think in any shape you desire. Whether you want circles, triangles, or parallelograms, you’ll find that glass mosaic tiles can literally bend to your will.
Many kinds of tiles are limited by the color of the stone from which they were plucked—a limitation that glass mosaic tiles do not share. From purple to chartreuse, you’ll be able to find glass mosaic tiles in any color that you want. A kitchen backsplash or bathroom counter will benefit greatly when adorned in vibrant shades of your favorite hue.
Since glass mosaic tiles can be any shape, color, and size you want, the possibilities for style are endless. You can have a simple wall of uniform tiles, an extravagant design, or a combination of both. With glass mosaic tiles, you have the materials to build any design you can dream up.

The edginess of Fall this year is raw with use of bold, poignant materials. I do not know if I could live with the unfinished look of plywood for my dining room. Not to mention the splinters. I see the need for contradiction in this space with the dramatic crystal chandelier, and the most forgotten flower, the Carnation. While the red makes a statement, the tufted leather office chairs look misplaced. Like Couture Fashion, some designs are meant to be looked at, not lived in. You be the judge.
Sometimes being bold means adding the pop of red with a tray, a practical hard surface for ottomans instead of coffee tables. Perfect for serving drinks, and sometimes we can only be as raw as a vase of flowers. No splinters, and they make me smile.

Having a beautiful kitchen is important, both for your own benefit and for your guests. That’s why it’s essential that you have the appropriate tile accents and backsplashes for a sophisticated kitchen or bathroom design. Here is a brief guide to selecting the perfect tile for your next home project.
As with any design project, the color scheme is one of the most important aspects. When selecting tile for accents and backsplashes, you should first examine the colors that make up the rest of your kitchen; or, if you’re building a whole new kitchen, be sure to coordinate the colors during the design process. You should decide whether you want to match the colors or set them against each other in daring contrast.
The color is only a part of putting together a beautiful backsplash—you also need an interesting texture to catch the eye. Again, take a look at the rest of your kitchen: If you’re going for a rustic look, then you should go for roughly-textured tumble marble. If your kitchen is more modern, you may want to look at various smooth and glossy ceramics.
Tile is a popular design material largely due to its versatility. Whether you want a wall of simple tile or an intricate design, all you need is a gifted tile designer and it can be yours. Once you decide to go with tile, your options drastically increase.
